Association for Foreign Investment accepted two new members at the Plenary session on 23 June 2020. The new members were companies BROŽ BROŽ VALA advokátní kancelář s.r.o. and Manuvia Jobs s.r.o. Thus, the AFI has currently 45 members.
The plenary session took place in the beautiful premises of the famous Letná castle in Prague. Most of our members and partners participated in the plenary, including the representatives of the CzechInvest agency, AFI's patron.
The present members approved the membership of two new applicants, namely Brož Brož Vala advokátní kancelář s.r.o. (law firm) and Manuvia (personnel-leasing market agency). Both companies have thus become AFI's fully-fledged members as of 1st July 2020.
The AFI's Chairman, Mr Kamil Blažek, acquainted the participants with AFI's recent activities including e.g. webinars during COVID-19 lockdown period with high-level speakers from both public and private sectors, designed specifically for AFI members. He laid down the plan of AFI's activities and schedule of events for this year and draw participants' attention to the fact that AFI's new elections will take place in January 2021.
The representatives of CzechInvest agency provided the participants with CzechInvest's intensive involvement into the handling of COVID-19 crisis (e.g. managing COVID-I, II programmes and other). They also informed that two agencies, CzechInvest and CzechTrade, will soon move under the same roof in Štěpánská street in the center of Prague.
Last but not least, the Plenary session approved by unanimity the AFI's financial statements for 2019 and also two new Honorary members, Jan Bobek and Martin Slabý.
