It was an honour for us to participate in the NanoCzech Liberec 2023 conference. Its organisers, the Regional Development Agency, together with the Liberec Region, the Technical University of Liberec and the Czechinvest agency, created a meeting place for nanotechnology companies and interest organisations as well as companies demanding hi-tech solutions. Representatives of public administration, scientific researchers and students also participated.
The conference aspires to become the largest meeting of its kind in the Czech Republic. The first edition symbolically takes place in the year when the Technical University of Liberec celebrates 70 years since its foundation and 20 years since the creation of the technology of industrial production of nanofibres.
Ondřej Votruba, Executive Director of AFI, in his opening speech gave a number of examples of how Czech nanofirms are conquering the world.
