Czechia and Taiwan signed Memorandum of Understanding

On December 19, 2024 Czechia and Taiwan solidified their economic ties by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering Taiwanese investment in Czechia. The agreement particularly focuses on the semiconductor and related high-tech industries, marking a significant step forward in the bilateral relationship between the two economies.

The signing ceremony took place at the Alcron Hotel in Prague and featured prominent attendees, including a Minister from the Taiwanese government, the Director of the Association for Foreign Investment (AFI), and representatives from five member companies of the association. The event underscored the shared commitment of both nations to deepen their collaboration in advanced technologies.
