Visa Seminars: Labour migration in the context of 2024

The traditional autumn series of visa seminars organised by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Association for Foreign Investment - AFI and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic took place. The seminars focused on key issues of economic migration, including current challenges for employers and workers from abroad in the context of 2024.

The events were held in three cities - Ostrava, Brno and Prague. We would like to thank the AFI member firms that contributed with their expert presentations - Expat Support in Ostrava and Brno, and PRK Partners in Prague.

The topics included practical advice on employing foreigners, up-to-date information on legislation and data from adaptation and integration courses presented by representatives of integration centres. The seminars also offered space for discussion and sharing of experiences among the participants, thus contributing to a better understanding of current trends and future direction of labour migration in the Czech Republic.
