As one of the largest providers of support services for the Czech transmission system, it contributes to ensuring the balance of electricity generation and consumption in the Czech Republic. 

The production of heat and electricity is mainly carried out in a combined cycle - cogeneration. This method brings not only a higher utilisation of the energy contained in the fuel, but also a high level of environmental friendliness when combined with district heating. In city centres, it helps to improve air quality.
