Thein Group presentation to CzechInvest managers

The Association for Foreign Investment - AFI provides support to foreign investors who direct their investments to the Czech Republic in cooperation with the CzechInvest agency. In order to offer investors expert information at all levels of the investment process, AFI brings together top consulting companies, experts in a wide range of fields.

Thein Consulting is the newest member of AFI. Mr Tomáš Budník, technology expert, investor and founder of the Thein Group, together with his colleague Jana Studničková, CEO of iBusiness Thein, presented the activities of the Thein Group to CzechInvest managers, opening the opportunity for wider mutual cooperation.

The Thein investment group consists of two pillars. The ICT part of the group focuses on the development of technology companies in the field of ICT, cybersecurity or the provision of private 5G networks, and is an authorised partner of Apple with a focus on the business segment. The second pillar Industry represents a strong industrial group supporting Industry 4.0 trends with the aim of using the latest technologies in the engineering industry, including the use of hydrogen technologies.

Tomas Budnik spoke about the long history of companies associated in the Thein group, the complexity of services and the unique offer of technologies such as private 5G networks. Cyber security was an interesting topic that resonated with the audience on a personal level. Information about the new European directive in the field of cybersecurity - NIS2 - was also topical. There was also talk about ESG reporting and the company's research and development in the field of hydrogen for road and rail transport.
