Taiwan Semiconductor Mission in Czechia

Business Mission

28. - 30. 8. 2024

Praha, Ústí nad Labem, Brno

The last week of August 2024, a three-day Taiwan Semiconductor Mission was held in Prague, Ústí nad Labem and Brno, attended by companies from the TSMC supply chain and other Taiwanese investors together with a large political delegation. It was an excellent international opportunity to promote investment in the Czech Republic and to cooperate with major Taiwanese investors.

As part of the programme, an Investment seminar was held in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, which was opened by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Markéta Pekarová Adamová. The aim of the seminar was to facilitate Taiwanese companies to invest in the strategically key semiconductor sector and to help them establish contacts with potential Czech business partners. During the seminar, Ondřej Votruba, Executive Director of AFI, was given the opportunity to present the activities of the organisation.

AFI members, namely Randstad, Deloitte, Konečná Zacha, Bilfinger Tebodin, Panattoni and CTP, presented the investment environment in the Czech Republic in their respective areas of expertise at individual events held in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, as well as in Ústí nad Labem and Brno.

We would like to thank the CzechInvest agency, Jan Michal, Gabriele Bauerová and Adam Wrobel for organizing this event and for the opportunity to participate in it.
