Investment seminar in Shenzen

On 24^th of March in the Chinese city Shenzhen, CzechInvest Agency organized a hybrid investment seminar with support of Czech Embassy in Beijing and the Association for Foreign Investment. The event was attended by 25 investors from different fields.

Opening speech was given by Mr. Vladimír Tomšík, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to People’s Republic of China, who also gave a remarkable presentation about the Czech business environment. It was followed by presentation of CzechInvest about the introduction of the Investment Climate of the Czech Republic, R&D capabilities and case studies of the Chinese investments from past several years. Among other speakers, the representants of AFI members companies – Bilfinger Tebodin, Deloitte and PRK Partners were also participated. Even though they could not be present in Shenzen they joined the event online and said a few words to all participants. Their presentations were played after their greetings. A legal perspectives introduction including the setting up of the business in Czech Republic was presented by Mr. Shiyang Zhang, Counsel for Czech-Chinese Relationships at PRK Partners, overview of the real estate market and how to effectively start your own factory was presented by Mr. Stone Li – Business Development Manager at Bilfinger Tebodin and Preferential policies and programs for investors in the Czech Republic was presented by Ms. Stephenie Hsu, China Desk at Deloitte Czech Republic. Seminar was followed by networking and discussions about intended investment project with the business visitors.
