HR webinars for start-ups

The CzechInvest Agency in cooperation with the Association for Foreign Investment - AFI organized two online HR seminars for start-up companies in March 2025. The aim was to provide start-ups with specific tools and recommendations for effective recruitment, employee retention and team development in the early stages of business. Over 20 startups from various industries participated in the seminars.

Experienced experts from AFI member companies Pavlina Volfová (Human Sense) and Blake Wittman (GoodCall) presented to the participants in a clear and practical way proven approaches to recruiting and managing people in a startup environment. They focused on the most common HR challenges that startups face - from finding their first employees to building HR processes. They also discussed, for example, when it is appropriate to outsource recruitment and how to use external partners, when to proceed to direct recruitment, how to reach candidates even without an established brand and how to find talent outside the usual channels. The topic also included retaining key people and creating a company culture that can handle growth.

The seminars offered not only theoretical knowledge, but above all practical tips and recommendations. We would like to thank Lucia Vysoudilova from CzechInvest for the organization and wish all the participants of the webinar a successful development.
