On 25 October, Investment seminar in Beijing took place. It was organised by CzechInvest and the Association for Foreign Investment together with the China Council of Promotion of Investment and Trade and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing. Representatives of 70 significant Chinese companies took part. There were existing investors in the Czech Republic, as well as those who are interested in establishing close cooperation with Czech companies and succeeding in the Czech market. From existing investors Beijing West Industries can be mentioned as a project which has brought 300 working positions in the automotive industry in Cheb.
The seminar was opened by the Czech Ambassador in Beijing Mr Vladimír Tomšík, followed by the presentations of the CzechInvest representatives and AFI experts from the member companies 108 Agency, Deloitte ČR a PRK Partners.
On 23 October Investment seminar in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province, took place. It was organised by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai and the Association for Foreign Investment – AFI. The Association was represented by three member companies 108 Agency, Deloitte ČR a PRK Partners. The seminar was co-organised by the Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce which associates 80 thousand of the most important private business entities in Nanjing.
During the half day event, potential investors were presented with current and comprehensive information on how to found a company in the Czech Republic, how to find a suitable location or how to obtain visa for qualified workers.
Chinese side was represented by companies which are currently building their production plants in the Czech Republic and also by companies which are interested in deepening their business and economic cooperation.
