INVESTMENT SEMINAR IN TEL AVIV

On Wednesday September 18 in Tel Aviv an investment seminar was held in the Whiskey Bar & Museum. The aim was to introduce the Czech Republic as a developed country full of opportunities for investments in IT, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, blockchain and other technologies and innovations.

The event was organized by CzechInvest, CzechTrade and the Association for Foreign Investment – AFI agencies with the help of the Czech-Israeli Mutual Chamber of Commerce and the Israeli-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The seminar was attended by 30 listeners from the Israeli companies from the field (f.e. Afik.com, D. T. Solutions, Smart Cities Solutions, Fintech, Swot, KlikeSense, CyberTogether, Mekorot, and other), representatives of local authorities, export companies, and so on. In the afternoon, Mrs Kateřina Moravcová, Deputy Head of Mission of the Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv and Mr Assaf Dovrat, Director of the Israel-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, welcomed guests. The Czech Republic was generally introduced by representatives of CzechInvest. The performances concerning legal, tax, personnel and real estate issues were provided by the member companies of AFI PRK Partners, Grafton Recruitment and P3 Logistic Parks. In the end, Mr Avi Bukai closed the presentation with his story about the successful business in the Czech Republic with his company INX Digital. Speed dating and networking followed the whole presentation part.

The seminar was freely linked to the event “DLD Innovation Festival and Digital Conference” where CzechInvest presented its successful IT start-ups. The following day, a delegation of Czech companies had the opportunity to take an organized trip to Jerusalem, which ended with a dinner and reception on the terrace of the Czech House.
