CzechInvest agency has been planning to organise a series of visa seminar which were to be held in four Czech and Moravian cities. The visa seminars have yet become an annualy held event and is organised in cooperation with the Association for Foreign Investment – AFI and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. Due to the adopted government anti-coronavirus measures, only a single one seminar has eventually taken place in the online webinar form.
The visa online webinar took place on 13 October 2020, this time focusing on the issue of employment of foreigners and residency rights. Its main part consisted of introduction of the specifics of work migration in 2020 and safety measures related to the coronavirus pandemics. Furthermore, the conception of mandatory adaptation-integration courses for foreigners was discussed and the CzechInvest specialists also introduced the Talent Attraction program focused on promoting Czech Republic and local employers among young talents in the European Union countries.
More than 100 participants joined the online webinar. Nevertheless, an English version of the online seminar is scheduled for 22 October 2020.
