More than 80 representatives of Korean companies and government institutions attended two investment seminars that were organized by Association for Foreign Investment – AFI together with CzechInvest agency. The seminars were held under the auspices of the Czech Ambassador in Korea on October 31, 2017 in Seoul and on November 1, 2017 in Busan. These seminars were part of the business and government delegation program. The opening of the event was conducted by the Chairman of the Senate Milan Štěch.  The main focus of the seminars was on Progressive Technologies and Industries Arise and New Trends in Automotive - eVehicles & Ba­tterless, Autonomous and Connected Cars

The Association for Foreign Investment – AFI, was represented by its member companies CBRE, Kinstellar and KPMG. They promoted foreign investment trends in key sectors of the Czech and Korean economy, mergers and acquisitions and presented the Czech investment climate. Thus, Korean representatives got an opportunity to get to know the Czech market and learn more about the possibilities of cooperation with Czech companies and institutions. The Chairman of AFI - Kamil Blažek, pointed out, that not only there is still a great interest in investments, but also in smaller or subcontracting projects. Interest was identified also in finding Czech partners in Joint Ventures
